What’s worth writing about

• A guide is wrong or out of date. This is the most useful message you can send. French rules change and this site will not always catch it first — if something here does not match what an administration told you, please say so.
• A procedure has changed since a guide was last verified, especially if you have just been through it yourself.
• A broken link, a bad translation, or something that simply did not make sense when you were trying to follow it.

What I can’t do

I cannot give legal advice, review your personal dossier, or tell you whether your application will be approved. Those depend on details of your situation that a website cannot see, and getting them wrong has real consequences for you.

For decisions that matter, go to the administration directly — every guide links to the official page it was checked against — or to a qualified professional.
